Are You Ready to Start a New Workout Program?


What do I need?, You will need to commit to yourself, never give up until You reach your goal, clean the fridge and home from any unhealthy food [that way You avoid temptation], when You are out rather than reach for a soft drink, grab a bottle of crisp water, rather than try to bite a burger, bite an apple or go for a salad, next time You visit the grocery store, fill your car with more vegetables, fruits, and seeds such as almonds, pecans...etc. Eat more fish, shrimp and chicken, and if, You still feeling cravings for beef try the ones with less fat. If you have the opportunity to cook often at home, DO IT!!! the way you will have more control of the calories in your meals, all this maybe will look like a lot of work and effort, but it will be worth it, because this little things one stack of another will amount to the results You want to see,and feel later, but one of the most important thing is to start today, GOOD LUCK, with Your fitness goal, and with lots of patience, diligence, determination, a will of iron and constancy. You will meet your best self again. Wish You the most exciting journey ever.

Day 9 Week 2 of P90X, Plyometrics!!!


Jumping training is done, I can feel the difference today, then a week ago when I was doing the Plyometrics workout, I completed effortlessly than the 1st time, n resting less, this specific exercise is really improving my performance on the track, while I am running I have the feeling the I can going on and on, but I don't want to stress my body too much, I will increase the speed and the mileage gradually, but I am feeling more NRG now than ever.

Self-Discipline!!!


As more self-discipline I become as easier life it gets. Self-Discipline starts with little and gradual changes, that will take me from my comfort zone to the line between comfortable n uncomfortable, once I get close to this line it becomes a challenge to hang out more close to the limit, but I know when I stretch myself I have now more room n the opportunity for growth, because I expanding my boundaries. When it comes to discipline it has to be one step at the time. Why?, because if I am not just to new things when I start something different I could get overwhelm and there is when fear kicks back in, I have to make sure I embrace change gradually. Self-Discipline is more of what am I thinking to do, then how I feeling about it, it implies sacrifice, avoiding what is instant pleasure for something what is more important in the long term. Self-Discipline is freedom, because lets say, just by caring more about my body, I will spend less time sick, without NRG, sleeping, and enjoying every moment of life, and doing the things the really gives meaning to human existence, family, having fun, helping others. Self-Discipline is like a cable, it is made of many tiny strings woven together, the strings individually are weak but when they become the cable it is strong, it is the same with the P90X workouts, once I complete all the workouts, I will become stronger the how I was 90 days prior to start, I don't get overwhelm with all the workouts, what I am doing is to focus in just one everyday n overtime they will make a difference.
